winter worker bee.

Happy almost Friday! I'm thankfully working from home tomorrow since we have to take Mungo to the vet to have his teeth cleaned, so I'm hoping for a relaxing Friday. And then a busy weekend!

I finally got myself to take outfit photos in the morning before I left for work. It was quick, because it was freezing out and my tripod was not cooperating, but I managed to get a couple good shots.

I'm wearing:
Sweater: Target
Blouse: Talbots
Skirt: American Apparel
Tights: stolen from my mom
Boots: Steve Madden
Necklace: made by me

Excuse my tired/haven't had my coffee yet face. And apparently I was so tired I forgot to put my watch & my rings on (that never happens). I feel like this is the typical winter uniform for females who work in offices—sweater, blouse, pencil skirt, tights, and boots. It's certainly a formula I'll be using when dressing for work in the winter months.

Now, about these boots: I love the look of them. However, they're a smidgen too tight on me. I ended up with them because they were apparently hiding in my mom's closet and she never wore them (!!!), so of course I snagged them. They're not terribly flexible (even in the foot area, like leather typically is), but they're so cute that I have to hold onto them a little longer.

What's your winter uniform?
