Color Wheel Challenge Day 1: Pumpkin Spice (Orange)

The Color Wheel Challenge is upon us! Honestly, I would've had these photos up earlier, but I accidentally took a nap (it's a thing, promise). I was all ready to go to the library to work on my thesis and then I laid down and boom, two hours go by. Sigh. So much for having a productive evening. Anyways, color wheel challenge! I started with orange!

Photos by my friend Katie.
I'm wearing:
Sweater: American Apparel
Shirt: H&M
Dress: Urban Outfitters
Leggings: Old Navy
Boots: Spotted Moth
Necklace: Shabby Apple via Koi Story's giveaway
Headband: ModCloth

So I bought this dress for half its original price a couple weeks ago, and this is the first chance I've had to wear it. Things I love about this dress: the material, and the sweetheart neckline (I loooove sweetheart necklines!). Things I don't love about this dress: it sits oddly around the middle. It fits perfectly everywhere except for that middle button, where it pulls no matter what I do. Either I need to find a way to subtlely safety pin it or lose a few more inches off of my waistline.

And I'm finally wearing my Shabby Apple necklace that I won in Meanz from Koi Story's recent giveaway! Yay free jewelry :D

Oh, and in the spirit of pumpkin as the flavor of the season, I had my very first pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin scone on Saturday! Pure deliciousness. (Also, I love having an iPhone, wheeeee!)

And now, links! These lovely ladies (who are also my "blogger besties," as Hannah says) participated in the Color Wheel Challenge with me today:
• Katie of Today I Want kicked off the week with lots of red! (Note: two posts!)
• Hannah of She Could Be A Pharmer made her Broncos jersey look chic!

I love that people are indulging my ridiculousness and doing this with me!
Did you participate in the Color Wheel Challenge today?! Remember, you can start anytime, with any item of clothing! (P.S. Tomorrow's color is red!)
