I hope everyone had a happy Fourth! This isn't a holiday appropriate outfit, but it's a pretty good one I wore to work a couple weeks ago.

With a special appearance by our cat Nathan! He loooooves the patio (he's too lazy & big to try to jump the fence, unlike our other cat Hannah), and so whenever we're out there, he has to be out there too. 

I found out about Pact Organic from—of all things—a Facebook ad, advertising their beautiful cotton dresses for $25 and free shipping. I clicked, and ended up buying this black A-line tank dress, which is perfect for layering (I checked and it's no longer available, sadly). 

Also, these shoesssss. I rarely buy from ModCloth since they were acquired by Walmart, but occasionally they have some good items on sale, like these Bettie Page flats. I need to find things other than black that they go with, but this is a start!
