Garden Party Planning with Paperless Post

Happy end of July! I can't believe this summer is going by so fast—before it's over, I've been wanting to have an English style garden/tea party (despite not having much of a garden right now), since lord knows I have enough floral china and then Paper Source came out with a beautiful "garden party" collection. So when Paperless Post reached out to me, I knew I had to go ahead and do it, with the help of their beautiful customized invitations.

I decided to use Paperless Post rather than a Facebook event since it's more classy and they have so many options for the design—the invite, the envelope, the envelope liner, and the guest name card.

I went with an (obviously) floral and blush pink theme, since the party itself will have a lot of pinks and some mint accents. The design I chose for the invite was actually designed by Mr. Boddington's Studio, one of my favorite design studios. Paperless Post has a ton of invitations by well known designers, and a ton of options for customizing them.

The other thing I love about Paperless Post is it's really easy to track RSVPs and invitees can send you private messages when they respond, and you can send out follow up messages.

Now that I've sent out the invitations, I need to start planning the decor and what I'm going to wear!
Thankfully, I already have the perfect dress:

And these shoes:

A lot of my friends are planning on wearing fancy hats, which I'm super excited about. I'm going to leave the fancy hat wearing to them, though, and wear this floral headband:

As for decor, I'm going to use these place cards as food signage:

And some other ideas I'm thinking about:

What do you guys think? Have you ever thrown a garden party?
Stay tuned for pictures of the actual party in a couple weeks!
