ModCloth IRL DC Recap

Welp, last week certainly got away from me in terms of blogging (but it was full speed crazy at work). So, a little belatedly, here's my recap of the ModCloth IRL DC experience and a little "sip and shop" event they held with bloggers Vivi of Heart Print & Style and Dani of Blonde in the District, who are lovely. It was great to see Vivi, who I know from blogger networking events, since I hadn't seen her in years!

Warning: photo heavy so more after the jump!

Mimosas! And water. Thank god for the water.

When you walk in, you're greeted and given a clipboard to write down which styles and sizes you want to try on, and then they call your name with all your items. I tried on the Motif Belief dress, Give it Timeless Dress, and Grow Where You Wanna Grow Skirt—I ended up buying the skirt, and a beautiful necklace from Vinca that was created exclusively for the DC shop. I wish they did these fit shops more often, because as I was trying things on I remembered that the dresses tend to run small, the skirts a little big, and my friends said the blouses seemed to run on the large side.

It was really fun to experience ModCloth in person—they certainly know how to make great use of a space. And how to make a good mimosa.
