Tulle & Combat Boots: summer brights + patterns.

I can't believe the summer is almost over and this is my first outfit post of this summer involving shorts.

What I'm wearing:

T-shirt: Threadless (old)

Shorts: J. Crew (sale!)

Shoes: Keds

Bag: Cath Kidston

Necklace: Francesca's Collections

Eyeshadow(s): Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette

Lipstick: Revlon Colorburst in "Unapologetic"

So, there's a bit of a story behind these shorts. I saw them in the store in Georgetown and fell in love—but not so much with the $75 price tag. And, lo and behold, about two months later, I was looking at the sale section on the J.Crew website and there they were, but for $24! Way more do-able. And coral, polka dots & scallops?! I could not say no.

Also, crazy/bright makeup was for the Jimmy Buffet concert, because when in Rome...
