reflective triangles.

Happy almost Friday! What are you doing this weekend?
I'm excited for Saturday which is DC 101's Chili Cook Off—it's a good lineup this year: AWOLNATION, Silversun Pickups, and Soundgarden! And Sunday is dedicated to relaxing & catching up on some personal projects (finally).

Anyways, these photos are from two weekends ago (ack, two weekends?!) when my friend Katie & I went on another DC daytrip, this time to the French Market in Georgetown and then to the National Gallery of Art. I got some delicious French macaroons from Paul Bakery (which I highly recommend, they have a few DC locations) and we saw some great exhibits at the NGA; we stumbled upon "Faking It" which is about photomanipulation in the days before Photoshop—absolutely amazing! There were some photos that you could barely tell were altered, and some that were just really fun and different. We also saw the Albrecht Durer exhibit, which was equally good and quite extensive.

And then of course, outfit photos!
Photos by my friend Katie.

I'm wearing:
Jacket: Primark
Dress: made by me
Blouse: Forever 21
Belt: Oasis
Boots: Spotted Moth
Bag: Urban Outfitters
Necklace: LouLou
Sunglasses: Jones New York via Marshalls
Rock ring: Nana DC vendor (I forget who!)
Earrings: Eastern Market Flea Market

I forgot to take off my sunglasses THE WHOLE TIME. And realized later that I should've put on lipstick before we took these. Whoops. But, I love this outfit—for once, it turned out exactly how it looked in my head.

And I totally impulse bought this shiny druzy necklace while we were in Georgetown. I'm obviously a fan of wearing shiny rocks.
