donut come for me.

Holy moly, I can't believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving. November has been such a weird, fast month—the first week was full of election anxiety, the following week I attended a virtual conference, and last week work was extremely busy.

But, during this time, I received this beautiful hand painted denim jacket that I commissioned from my good friend Madelyne from Good Letters Design!

Photos by my husband.

What I'm wearing:
Jacket: Old Navy, designed & painted by Good Letters
Dress: Old Navy
Tights: Target
Boots: Dr. Scholls via Target
Necklaces: Madewell

The design on the jacket was inspired by this quote from one of my favorite drag queens, Kim Chi:

Madelyne added the two donuts on the front to symbolize me & my husband—how cute is that?!

I absolutely looooove this jacket, I've been keeping it hung up outside of my closet so I can see it more. Madelyne started painting denim jackets this year, and she's already done a ton of awesome ones; you can see them on her Instagram. Her commissions are closed for this year, but she is taking on more next year!

Also, this dress is so comfy and the midi length surprisingly works for me, despite my height.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's Thanksgiving outfit!
