Review: Silk18 Shampoo from Maple Holistics

Long time no blog! February flew by, and I can't believe it's basically the end of March. Hopefully by next month I can get back to a regular posting schedule.

Although I haven't been blogging, I have been trying this Silk18 Shampoo that Maple Holistics generously sent me to try. I really like it—no offensive or overdone scents, not overly drying, and cruelty free!

One thing to be aware of is that it really works best if you follow the instructions (novel, I know), and leave it in for 2-3 minutes. I'm a fast shower kind of person, so I have to make an effort to do this, but it really makes a difference in how my hair feels. It's great for damaged hair, and since my hair is partially bleached & dyed right now (more on that in another post!), I'm making a little extra effort to keep my hair in good shape.

If you have damaged hair (or think you might), I recommend reading this great explainer that Maple Holistics has on their blog, which also ranks the best shampoos for damaged hair.

Thank you to Maple Holistics for letting me try this! Outfit posts & some shopping posts coming soon, I promise!

Thank you to Maple Holistics for sending me this product in exchange for a review.
