What a month last week was, huh? I think anyone who's been paying attention to what's been happening in the United States (and our country's entire legacy) will agree with this apt reaction to the siege on the Capitol: "disappointed, but not surprised." I guess I really have a plaid theme going on lately, but it's totally unintentional. What I'm wearing: Top: thrifted Skirt: Harkel Clothing Shoes: Dr. Scholls via DSW Earrings: Baublebar Necklace: Kate Koel Jewelry I thrifted this plaid shirt back in March I think (before lockdown) and it's sooooo soft. It has some interesting details (like random buttons at the bottom on the back, I cannot figure out what purpose those serve) but it's versatile. green + plaid.

Happy New Year! We're continuing with the plaid theme for today's outfit! What I'm wearing: Dress: Smak Parlour via Donna's Dress Shop Shoes: DSW Earrings: vintage via Diament Jewelry I kept this outfit pretty simple because this dress doesn't really need much. I love the collar (obviously), the sleeve length, and the pockets! I also discovered that the brand Smak Parlour has recently gone out of business, which is sad. (Correction: just their store, not the whole brand!) I have to say, I don't even remember how I originally found Donna's Dress Shop on Instagram, but I cannot say enough good things about them! Their shipping is so fast, they have a great selection, and Instagram Story sales. They have a mix of vintage and vintage-inspired, and in a big range of sizes.
