These were taken by the Smithsonian Castle in the garden—it wasn't warm yet, but all the magnolias were blooming and it was beautiful. Katie (of Meekly Yours) and I had planned to go to the Renwick Gallery, but the line was a block long so we decided to walk around the monuments instead.
