Tulle & Combat Boots: hot pink & navy.

This happens every year: I love this time of year (especially as it gets nicer out and it gets closer to my birthday), but I always get ridiculously busy. And last week just flew by, and then I went on a quick weekend trip up to Long Island to visit my relatives (which was a lot of fun). And now somehow it's Tuesday.

I've got a good backlog of outfit photos built up, but let's start with this one:

Necklace: Cupcakes & Mace

I got this blazer on sale probably over a month ago and was waiting for it to be spring-y enough to wear it. Because it is so bright (way brighter in person than online), I wanted to pair it with classic black & white to tone it down a little. And then threw in my floral oxfords because why not? I'm so glad that it's spring and I can go back to wearing them all the time.

Also, I just noticed that this blazer has my cousin's wedding colors in it—hot pink & navy! Funny how that worked out.
