five photo friday: monkeys grasping.

Happy Friday! Hope everyone had a great week! Today's photos are of an exhibit that is part of the Freer Sackler Gallery's permanent collection that I was just fascinated by.

First, a little explanation:

Me being the typography nerd that I am, I thought this was the coolest thing. If you look closely you can see the characters within the larger image.

It goes all the way from the top to the bottom of the middle of the gallery! It's absolutely gorgeous.

If you're in the DC area, definitely check out the Freer Sackler Gallery (right next to the Smithsonian Castle).
