cherry blossom girl.

Happy Monday! This weekend was wonderful (ooh, alliteration!), on Saturday I didn't have to go to a conference, so I spent the day working before going over to the boyfriend's. We watched Grosse Point Blank (I highly recommend it!) and Romancing the Stone, and then on Sunday we went to our favorite brunch spot and then into D.C. for the day. I had to go take pictures for a project, and we ended up walking around the Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossoms and then to the FDR Memorial, which is beautiful. All photos by my amazing boyfriend.

Blouse: thrifted
Shorts: Old Navy
Tights: New Look
Boots: shop in Oxford
Clutch: gift
Necklace: Betsey Johnson
Bag (shown below): Gap

The adorable ring that my boyfriend got me for our upcoming 1 year anniversary!
(He decided to give it to me early, yay!)
It's a little kitteh! We love kittehs, so it's very appropriate.

Also, my boyfriend pointed out that my outfit resembled a cherry blossom. No, I did not do that on purpose! I promise! And the best photos out of the 200+ that I took on Sunday will soon be uploaded to my Flickr, so watch out for that. And a select few will most likely pop up in this week's Five Photo Friday.

That's all for today, lovelies!
